Always a good way to spend a Saturday night. If you haven't seen arena football you should go to a game as they are fun and very fast paced. In this game the Barnstormers lost to the Chicago Rush 50-49.

Dr. Pat Rohret of Adel Veterinary always has humorous bits of wisdom posted outside of his business. This sign pretty much says it all.
According to the Des Moines Register, the Des Moines area has received 54.2” f snow as of 2/15/10. Our yearly average for this time of year is 28.9”. We only have to receive 14 more inches of snow to break the all time record.
I think since we have suffered through the most difficult part of the winter we might as well go for the record, at least we will have bragging rights!
Holding an agent open house this morning at 2116 44th in Des Moines. Couldn't resist getting some photos of the frost lined trees thanks to the foggy weather.
This is a really nice home that has been updated extensively. It also has an inground pool on a 1 acre lot.

Coolbeans is a nice resturant located across from the courthouse in Adel. They have great coffee as well as a full menu of sandwiches and soups.
My favorite is the turkey sandwich, it's made with real carved turkey.
